Vans does not currently offer online exchanges, but please contact Customer Service and we'll be happy to help. You may exchange an online order in any Vans store or Vans Outlet. If you choose to exchange in store, we recommend calling your local Vans retail store in advance to confirm they have the item you are looking for.
We begin processing your order immediately upon receipt. For this reason, we will not be able to cancel or change your order once you have submitted it. If you decide you do not want the merchandise, you can return your product in-store or by mail.
Shipping
For vans.com, we only ship orders within the U.S. If you are outside of the U.S., check our other international sites by clicking the flag drop down at the bottom right of the page.
Orders being shipped to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses will only be shipped via US Postal Service. Please note, Custom products and express shipping are not available to these locations.
Orders shipped by express or standard shipping deliver on business days only (Monday through Friday), excluding holidays.
Returns & Exchanges

Purchases made on Vans.com can be returned within 30 days of receiving the product(s).
Custom products are not subject for return. Purchases made at a Vans retail location currently are unable to be returned via mail and need to be returned to a Vans retail location.
Refunds are processed based on applicable product and tax charges. Original shipping charges are not refunded. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Since 1966, we have stood behind our service philosophy of quality, value, and superior customer service. If you are not satisfied or have simply changed your mind about the product, we will gladly accept your return.
• Items returned with receipt will be refunded using the original tender
• If no receipt is available, we will provide merchandise credit at the current selling value
• Item(s) purchased on Vans.com will be refunded to the card used at the time of purchase
• Pro Shop item(s) that are unused and in their original packaging with tags attached can be exchanged or returned with an original receipt
We will gladly process your return for products purchased at Vans.com at within 30 days of receipt. Purchases made via Klarna returned through the mail will require continued payments until the return is processed. Klarna refunds will be processed within 14 days of the product being processed at our returns center.

Klarna orders exchanged or returned for credit at a VANS retail store will require continued payments to Klarna until payment is complete.
We will gladly process your return for credit or exchange for products purchased at vans.com or at a Vans retail store within 60 days of receipt. Purchases made with a gift card will be refunded to an alternate gift card at a store or once received by mail.

No, if an item you have selected is out of stock, you will not be charged for the out of stock item. We will notify you regarding your updated order status.

When you place an order your bank statement will display both a pre-authorization and the final sale. The pre-authorization hold will drop off within a couple days, depending on the policies of your bank.

If you decide to return your item, your refund will be electronically posted to the original form of payment. If you used both a credit card and a Vans gift card(s) to make your purchase, each amount will be credited back to the corresponding form of payment.

No, waivers must be filled out in the presence of a Vans employee or notary public. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Vans has a constitutional obligation to collect sales use tax in those provinces we are licensed to do business. Sales tax is calculated using the address where the product is being shipped.If for any reason you believe you are exempt from paying sales tax, please contact us and we will assist you with processing your order. Please have all the proper exemption tax information available. Credit cards that do not participate in the verification process will not be accepted.
